Professional Summary
Don Morrow, M.Ed.

Assistant Principal Candidate | Instructional Leader | Certified Educator

I am an instructional leader and Assistant Principal candidate with over 18 years of experience serving diverse school communities in Texas public schools. I hold a Master of Educational Administration and am certified as a Principal as Instructional Leader, with a professional background grounded in data-driven instruction, TEKS-aligned curriculum, campus culture, and family engagement.

My leadership approach centers on supporting principals and teachers through instructional coaching, consistent expectations, and collaborative problem-solving. I believe strong campus leadership is built through clear systems, effective communication, and a shared commitment to student achievement, equity, and continuous improvement.

Throughout my career, I have analyzed STAAR and MAP data to guide instructional decisions, supported differentiated instruction for diverse learners, and integrated technology to strengthen engagement and academic outcomes. I have extensive experience collaborating with teachers, families, and community partners to create safe, supportive learning environments that promote both academic success and student growth.
In addition to instructional leadership, I bring a strong background in community engagement and campus initiatives. I have coordinated large-scale family events, served on campus leadership committees, developed school-wide communication tools, and partnered with community organizations to support students and families. These experiences have strengthened my ability to build trust, foster collaboration, and align campus efforts with district goals.
This professional portfolio provides evidence of my leadership practice, including instructional work samples, professional development presentations, community engagement initiatives, and letters of recommendation from campus administrators. Together, these artifacts reflect my readiness to serve as an Assistant Principal and to contribute positively to a school leadership team.
